it's hardly past midnight and already this day is amazing

I'm so unbelievably excited that pretty much nothing can bring me down for the next week and a day....jgwoesfkjbsaoihdfbas'

I just danced like crazy for 20 minutes straight...flailing and all.

That's all.

Ok. I'm awake now. Tis morning of said "amazing day." I committed buy a picture from Benji last night. He sold them back in January to raise money for his February trip to Guatemala with Habitat for Humanity. I knew he existed back then, and that's about it. As I read his old blog entries from those months, I see a link to the pictures. The first one is pretty. I scroll down to read the caption: "Atlanta, Georgia at The Tabernacle on November 2, 2007." I realized I was there. I realize that was first of many Mae shows to come. I HAVE to have it. I hope he didn't sell it in all this. Oh gosh. I emailed him immediately. He emails back, and I'm getting it. I'll take the money to the show next week, and he'll mail it out as soon as he gets home. Effin a. I really felt sick while I was waiting on him to respond to my email.  I'm glad he checked it so soon. He could've waited until this morning or later today. He's awesome. My fingers can't type this fast enough. My mind is still reeling. Here's the link. He may still be selling them if anyone is interested. The book is awesome, too. I may end up with one of those.

And the picture I'm getting...

I applied for a summer internship at Redstone. I sent in my resume for two positions. They sort through and throw out the "no way you're getting this job" resumes, and then send off the good ones to the positions' respective decision makers. As of today my resume made it to both positions I applied for. No work experience on there but lots of volunteering. Wish me luck.

I'm beyond ecstatic right now. My Mae shirt just came in. I got some forms and jump drives filled with pictures from my Germany trip that I need for a presentation. And apparently I at least got honorable mention in an essay competition that I entered when I had assumed I just didn't do as well as everyone else. It was on the ethics of mandatory premarital genetic testing. No scholarship but still good for a freshman against all undergrads. Good day.

I have so much work I need to do. I don't care. Work is meaningless to me, at least what I', supposed to be doing. I'll get it done, no doubt, but I won't lessen my time of revelry for it. Never. I hope there are many more days like this. Even if there are few, this day is hardly half over, and I'll be awake for every remaining minute...working...but awake nonetheless. I love everyone and everything and pray they are as happy as I right now.

I'll call the Mutti and Vati on my way to robotics. My best days are always when I talk to them both in one day.

LOOOOOOOVE ALL AROUND!
=)
